Senior Pastor Evans Barning and his wife Pastor Vida Barning are the founders of the Lamb of God Miracle Ministry in Toronto, Ontario which was inaugurated on January 1st, 2003.

With more than 8 years in the ministry, the anointed man of God has been committed to bringing the good news and the healing power of Jesus Christ to the world by demonstrating God's power through healing, deliverance and prophetic utterances as well as healing and financial breakthroughs. Prayer, the word of God and the name of Jesus are the foundations of the ministry.

Pastor Evans is a conference speaker, a wonderful counsellor and a man of prayer. God has transformed many lives through his ministry. He is very committed to his calling, is passionately devoted to his members, and is always determined to see that anyone that visits Lamb of God receives his or her miracles from the Lord.

While Pastor Evans' primary obligation is to the members of LGMM, he is comited to the whole body of Christ and his doors are open either through the church or the radio ministry, Joy AM 1250, to all of those that are looking for their miracle and to become closer to God. He is strongly committed to building a body of Christ that is dedicated to holiness without spot and wrinkle.

Snr. Pastor Evans loves the Lord Jesus Christ with all his being and continues to press for more of His presence. He is deeply committed to living a life of holiness and emphasizes this strongly in his ministry. Righteousness and holiness are a pre-requisite to receive a miracle, testimony and breakthroughs in the life of every believer.

Pastor Evans’ love for the Lord and his insatiable quest to know more of Him has brought him to the level where God, in His faithfulness and mercy, has covenanted with Pastor Evans that He the Lord will not hide His mysteries from him in dreams and visions (Gen 18:17; Ex 33:11; Dan 2:28). Pastor Evans and his wife, Pastor Vida Barning have three handsome boys, Ezekiel, Aaron and Evans Jr.

The move of the Holy Spirit in Lamb of God brings true meaning to its motto “I can do all things through Christ who strengthenth me” Philippians 4:13

Pastor Vida Barning is the First Lady and co-founder of Lamb of God Miracle Ministry and for many the personification of a virtuous woman.

The name of the church was birthed through her prophetic dreams which, is a very powerful gift that God has graced her with. Even though she is the wife of Pastor Evans Barning, she co-pastors Lamb of God Miracle Ministry as the associate pastor. Upon her encounter with God, several Men of God also confirmed her calling before she entered into full time ministry.

A business woman by profession, with specification in entrepreneurship, accepted Christ Jesus at a very tender age. As a youth, while in Ghana she attended crusades, conferences, prayer meetings and all night vigils. She has always loved to pray, sing and see people change their lives to follow the Lord into the house of God. Most of all she always loved to be in God’s presence.

Pastor Vida Barning is a bible teacher with the gift of deliverance, prophetic utterances counselling and dream interpretation. In her ministry, lives have been set free through the power of deliverance, barren women having children and many souls giving their lives to Christ through her teachings. Pastor Vida Barning founded and is the overseer of the Women’s Ministry of Lamb of God Miracle Ministry and leads Young Adults Ministry. She has a heart for young adults and exemplifies a motherly love through counselling and teachings. She is a role model to many men and women and is a representation of the ideal woman for young men who believe in God for their life partner. Her passion for young adults has led many to give their lives to Christ and strive to live a holy life unto the Lord.

As a mother of three, she firmly believes that the best way to successfully raise children is to be an active role model in demonstrating the love of God. In spite of all this, she firmly believes that her primary call is to be a loving and supportive wife to her husband, and she continues endlessly to seek the grace of God to excel in this calling.

After God speaking to Pastor Evans about starting his own Ministry in December of 2002 Lamb of God was inaugurated on January 1st, 2003 at 7a Penn Drive, Toronto, Canada.

2003

Due to the work God was doing through Pastor Evans, the church had to relocate to support the rapidly growing congregation. In September 2003, Lamb of God Miracle Ministry opened its doors at its new premises 580 Champagne Drive, Toronto, Canada.

2004

LGMM added another section to the church because of growing Children’s Ministry and for the opening Pastor Evans’ first office. The church then took over 580- 582 Champagne Drive. In his office Pastor Evans began counselling sessions for those in need of prayers and spiritual guidance.

Our Radio Ministry began in May 2004. Pastor Evans can be heard on Joy AM 1250 every Wednesday from 2:15 to 2:30 P.M. Many listeners have been blessed by God through this ministry and some have even joined the church because they were led by God to do so after experiencing the strong presence of the Holy Spirit which resides here and seeing the miraculous works that have, and continue to occur.

2005

As Lamb of God was growing both spiritually and ecumenically there was a need to improve the technology that was being used. In the summer of 2005 LGMM went state of the art with an up to date networking computer system to improve the church as a whole.

Also, the Youth Ministry was officially initiated by Pastor Evans and led by Pastor Vida during the summer of 2005. An inauguration banquet was held in its honour to celebrate the success of the ministry.

2006

2006 was a year of stability as members and leaders continued to grow in their walk and work in the ministry.

2007

One of our greatest achievements would be the Lamb’s Care Program (LCP) which became operational in the summer of 2007. LGMM was deemed worthy to receive a grant from the African-Canadian Christian Network (ACCN) to fund LCP to mentor and tutor troubled youth in the Jane/Finch (Ward 8) community. This program also taught computer, conflict management and interview skills to people of all ages. In addition, LCP held a toy drive at the Driftwood Community Center for the Christmas of that year.

2008

The Men's and Women's Ministries were inaugurated for the spiritual and mental growth of the men and women of LGMM.

2009

Due to the continuous expansion of the Children’s Ministry the church had to be extended even further to 578-582 Champagne Drive, Toronto, Canada to house Pastor Evans’ and the administrations offices.

But most importantly, in the spring of 2009, because of the calling of God on her life, Vida Barning was named the Associate Pastor of Lamb of God Ministries and affectionately became Pastor Vida.

2010

In April 2010 LGMM was the first church to bring the well renowned worshipper Sonnie Badu to Canada for a concert. The concert featured other artistes such as Terry Wood, Cassidy Parlene, Patrick Blaire, Minister Prince Wiredu, and Solomon Wunibee as well as the band Essence of Praise. The concert was a huge success and Sonnie Badu has promised to visit Toronto again in the very near future.

We are currently celebrating the 7th Anniversary “The Year of Rest” of the Lamb of God Miracle Ministry featuring Dr. Bernard Mensah Adams with “Confronting Generational Altars”.
